History
Good food everyone can afford
The name ‘la table’ means ‘the table’ in French, which is where we get the inspiration for this place. The late 1800s saw a boom in bistros, brasseries and bouillons, all of which had one thing in common: they served delicious food at affordable prices in beautiful surroundings.
It is from these local French eateries – where the food is good and the price low – that our ethos originates.
“La table” is uncomplicated and unpretentious, and located in the middle of the green surroundings at Skovriderkroen. Here it’s easy to lower your shoulders and be present there – at the table!
The French Kitchen
Our menu and cuisine are straight out of Lyon, Paris or Marseille. Here you’ll find well-known French bistro classics, prepared with love and flavour. We want to serve good food that everyone can afford, which is why we find the best ingredients for the price – which typically means local produce in season.

Is there anything more beautiful than a full carafe of wine? We’ve selected our favourite wines at great prices. Here you can drink as much wine as you can handle without breaking the budget – in large or small carafes or one bottle at a time.

We also offer flexible function rooms for up to 230 people, including private dining for 12 people, a function room for 100 people and group dining at the bar for 2×14 people.
